Solar Tracking systems rotate and follow the sun all day, from sunrise to sunset, so this enables them to generate considerably more power (UK average is 40 - 45%, other latitudes can be higher)  than a static roof or ground mounted system.   In simple terms, 6 panels tracking = approximately 10 panels of a static roof system.  (Click here for performance graphs.) Because Heliomotion is ground mounted and free standing, you can clean the panels easily whenever required and take it with you when you move. Solar PV systems are made up of multiple panels which generate direct current (DC) electricity from sunlight, even on cloudier days. An inverter is required to convert the direct current into alternating current (AC) used for household appliances,  The power generated can then be used throughout your home or exported to the grid allowing you to lower your monthly electricity bills. (Please note: we do not market static roof based systems.)

Ground mounted - no issues re thatched, flat, structurally weak, gables or velux windows. Uses ground anchors (more sustainable and quicker to install, or concrete plinth - less eco friendly and a week to harden).  Take it with you when you move.   No scaffolding required. 

Spanish and German made panels available - £200 each upwards - and inverters between £600 - £1,200 depending on wattage, standard or hybrid battery ready.

​If you are DIY competent, you are able to assemble your own system.  You will need an electrician to install wiring, inverter and to commission it.

Can withstand wind speeds up to 80 mph. If higher speeds expected, prior to storm turn it off with the narrowest edge facing the wind, or use provided extension rod to turn panels horizontal, and turn off close to noon position, as per instructions in the manual.

Will you be solar ready for 2024? If you want to take advantage of increased light levels next Spring/Summer, you need to order your Heliomotion as soon as possible. That could mean obtaining planning permission and DNO approval - this can take up to 2 - 3 months.  You may want to start soon if you want to keep your bills down.
